On the occasion of World Earth Day 2025, Rawat Educational Group, in collaboration with Akshendra Welfare Society, launched the much-awaited Parinda Abhiyan—a large-scale environmental campaign aimed at ensuring water availability for birds during the scorching summer months.
The initiative began with Shri B.S. Rawat, Chairman of Rawat Educational Group, installing the first parinda (earthen water bowl), symbolizing the formal inauguration of this eco-friendly mission.
In a powerful display of youth involvement, over 500 students from Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar took part in a cycle rally, raising awareness about bird conservation and environmental responsibility.
Teachers, students, and volunteers from Akshendra Welfare Society participated enthusiastically in this impactful event, reflecting a shared commitment to protect nature.
This inspiring campaign is not limited to a single school. The Parinda Abhiyan is being conducted across multiple institutions under Rawat Educational Group:
Rawat Senior Secondary School, Vivek Vihar
Rawat Public School, Mansarovar
Rawat Public School, Bhankrota
Rawat Group of Colleges
Each campus has pledged to install water pots for birds and spread the message of ecological care in their local communities.
Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat, Director of REG and Secretary of Akshendra Welfare Society, announced the campaign’s ambitious goal: to install 25,000 bird water pots across Rajasthan.
He emphasized the campaign’s continued success over the last 5 years and encouraged maximum participation from students, volunteers, and local citizens.
As part of the event, students and attendees took an oath to protect the environment, symbolizing a strong step toward sustainable living.
Local leaders like Ward Councillor Mr. Vinod Sharma, Principal Mrs. Maitreyi Shukla, and Academic Head Mr. Rajesh Kanthariya also addressed the gathering, motivating everyone to be active contributors in this green mission.
Active members of Akshendra Welfare Society, including Mr. Amit Sharma, Mr. Hemant Sharma, and Mr. Sunil Sharma, have developed a well-structured plan to ensure the strategic placement of water pots across urban and rural areas.
